The Planning Grant for ITV Improvement will perform a needs assessment and initial design for upgrading and expanding the Interactive Television (ITV) capabilities within Mohave Community College’s service area.

The project will explore the feasibility of all potential existing and future alternatives for the deployment of Mohave Community College’s non-broadcast distance learning (non-web based) courses throughout the large, rural Mohave County area.

The requirements/needs analysis will involve the participation of all members of faculty and staff in all areas of the college. The system design, cost analysis, value analysis, and options generation will involve ITV working group members and any necessary consultants.

At the end of the planning process, the College will make decisions about the capacity, viability, and sustainability of the ITV system.
