Lifelong Learning

With technology, economics, politics and science changing daily, it has never been more essential to continue learning, throughout your lifetime. Arizona residents, who are at least 55 years old, have several choices for lifelong learning at MCC.

  • Non-credit courses for personal enrichment – available at a 25% discount
  • Classes for college credit toward a certificate or degree – at a special “ageless academics” tuition rate that is 50% of the standard rate for those under 55
  • College courses you audit for knowledge but no credit – at less than 15% the cost. Audit enrollment has the following restrictions: you pay the full technology and student activity fees, you may not participate in the lab portion of the course and you can only register during the drop/add week, after the course has sufficient enrollment to be offered, if seats are available. You may not audit allied health program courses or special courses. For those classes you must enroll in the program as a credit student. No course fees will be applied to an audit enrollment and no lab participation will be provided as a part of the audit.

For more information, talk with an academic advisor at the nearest campus.
